- This Staff Assistant position is located in Personnel Security Section (PSS), Chief Security Office (CSO), Security and Operations Management (SOM), Law Enforcement (LE), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Duties include but are not limited to: Monitors and tracks administrative actions and reports for completeness and responsiveness to ensure commitments and milestones are met and any delinquencies are brought to the attention of the supervisor. Prepares written responses to inquiries and develops standard operating procedures, memoranda, analytical reports and other correspondence. Reviews all management directives received for the Chief's concurrence to ensure compliance with the Personnel Security Section policies and procedures. Monitors, evaluates, and ensures the effectiveness of the Section. Maintains the staffing roster and performs human resource administrative functions for the Personnel Security Section.
