About the Position: This position is for the DIR of Nursing Mother/Baby Unit at EVANS Army Community Hospital at Fort Carson, CO. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
- Provide comprehensive professional nursing care to OB/GYN patients and their newborn.
- Set up and operates specialized monitoring equipment.
- Assign duties and delegates patient care to other registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, operating room technicians, and medical assistants.
- Provide perioperative care to include serving as the circulating RN for cesarean sections and additional obstetric surgical procedures.
- Coordinate patient education activities; ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
