This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is located at Madigan Army Medical Center - Department of Surgery/Audiology Service in Tacoma, Washington. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
- Triage clinical patients to prioritize care and coordinate multidisciplinary treatment.
- Evaluate patient charts to determine medical history and healthcare needs.
- Monitor medical procedures to ensure safety and complete required documentation.
- Administer patient medications and provide instructions for self-care.
- Manage staff competencies to meet hospital and Joint Commission standards.
