As an Informaticist (Registered Nurse), you will play a vital role in advancing the quality, safety, and effectiveness of patient care through the innovative use of health information systems and data analytics. You will collaborate with clinicians, IT specialists, and administrative staff to optimize electronic health record (EHR) systems, analyze clinical data, and support evidence-based decision-making.
- NWI has a total of 3 vacancies; 1 Informaticist vacancy in each of the below services: Inpatient / ED Surgical/ Procedural Mental Health The Informaticist (Registered Nurse) duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Exercises leadership in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of hardware and software applications integrated with the electronic health record (EHR) and associated programs/applications. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members, including other program and service leaders at the facility and network. Assists in directing the provision of education, orientation, competencies and providing quality improvement and outcomes utilization. Practice includes directing other providers. Preferred Experience: Strong Communication and Collaboration Skills Strong computer skills in the operation and use of an electronic health record.
