About the Position: This position is located at Fort Hood, Texas. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
- Conduct collaborative care assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Perform comprehensive assessment of patients to include medical history, physical examinations, and more to form a diagnosis.
- Order diagnostic or laboratory tests to prescribe medication and initiate emergency care as appropriate.
- Provide counseling to patients and their families in prevention of illness, maintenance of health, and attainment of physical, mental, and social well-being.
- Evaluate care delivery strategies to make recommendations to improve quality of care procedures and processes.
