- This Legal Administrative Specialist (Litigation Support) serves as a litigation support subject matter expert who provides advanced technical support to civil and criminal case teams. If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for providing Legal Administrative Specialist (Litigation Support) support in the U.S. Attorney's Office, District of South Carolina, located in Columbia, South Carolina, focusing in the areas of Electronic Discovery and Case Information Management, Litigation Technology and Technical Support, and Technical Guidance and Courtroom Support. Typical work assignments will include: Managing complex or large volumes of electronic case information for review, discovery, and court proceedings. Creating and maintaining litigation databases used to organize, search, analyze, and retrieve electronic evidence. Preparing electronic discovery productions and ensuring materials meet required formats, security requirements, and deadlines. Providing technical guidance and training to attorneys and legal staff on litigation support software, electronic evidence, and e-discovery processes. Preparing electronic exhibits and operating courtroom presentation software and equipment during hearings, depositions, and trials.
