About the Position: This position is located within Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) in the Directorate of Surgery, Urology Service in Honolulu, Hawaii. Tripler Army Medical Center is a tobacco-free workplace. Tobacco products include, but are not limited to, smoking, smokeless tobacco, and electronic nicotine delivery devices.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, identifying subtle and critical changes in patient conditions, and implementing sophisticated nursing interventions.
• Develop and adjust care plans in collaboration with physicians and specialists, ensuring optimal recovery and patient safety.
• Manage pediatric conditions, such as newborn hyperbilirubinemia, asthma, and upper respiratory conditions requiring continuous oxygen and airway monitoring.
• Administer and support infusion therapy services to patients in need of this service.
• Administer and monitor the use of therapeutic agents (medications) and pain-relieving drugs including narcotics and antibiotics, familiar with correct dosages and potential side effects.
