About the Position: This position is within the Naval Health Clinic Lemoore, California A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

• Responsible for implementing, coordinating, and administering the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) Infection Control Program.
• Assess infection control standards and practices in the facility and its clinics.
• Identify potential reservoirs for cross- contamination and performing environmental cultures as needed.
• Observe control measures during infection outbreaks among patients or staff and manage the collection, reporting and documentation of infection control data.
• Reviews and applies regulatory and accreditation standards related to infection control and ensures adherence to current infection control protocols based on established regulations and guidelines.
