About the Position: This position is located at Madigan Army Medical Center within the Orthopedic Surgery Department in Tacoma, Washington. A relocation or recruitment incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.

• Provide general oversight and nursing expertise for department nursing assets.
• Identify developmental and training needs of employees, provide and/or arrange development and training.
• Review and update nursing policies and standard operating procedures for nursing support staff.
• Coordinate with other healthcare team members to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of clinic operations, ensuring multidisciplinary health needs and readiness needs are met.
• Assess preventative health and chronic disease management needs of clinics.
