Pharmacist (Informatics)

This position is located in the Pharmacy Department of the Rosebud Indian Health Service in Rosebud, SD. The position is responsible for analyzing, implementing, and maintenance of automation and technology to optimize pharmacy practices, pharmacy systems, and the medication-use process. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).

• Evaluates health information systems and implements improvements as it relates to medication. Responsible for evaluating, guiding, implementing, and building data systems that support pharmacy departments. Develops, implements, integrates, and maintain automation and technology to ensure safe and appropriate use of medication Develops, designs, implements and manages a pharmacology informatics program using automation and technology to optimize pharmacy practices and systems Total Compensation Package - Check out IHS's outstanding total compensation package for this job: Pharmacist Total Compensation | Pay (ihs.gov) The selected individual is required to obtain and maintain medical staff clinical privileges, including any licensure requirements.
