About the Position: You will serve as the Director of the Dam Safety Center at the Huntington District Headquarters' Office with responsibility for providing all engineering services for a wide range of military, civil, environmental, and interagency/international projects and programs.

  • The incumbent will be responsible for leading and executing dam safety program modification (DSM) program management and complex technical support activities across the USACE with, but not limited to, the following duties:
  • Act as an authoritative source for decisions and guidance related to DSM program and project objectives, ensuring proper execution of enterprise policies and plans.
  • Serve as a corporate leader within the District, Region, and USACE, ensuring clear communication, comprehensive risk management, and strategic decision-making
  • Provide effective management and oversight of the enterprise non-routine DSM portfolio and program ensuring adherence to established guidelines and policies.
  • Serve as the leader for the development and maintenance of DSM technical competency across the enterprise.
