About the Position: Serve as a Senior Human Resources Specialist specializing in recruitment and retention flexibilities and incentives to recruit and retain civilians in healthcare and medical occupations within the Defense Health Agency (DHA) enterprise. Position may be filled at Falls Church, VA or San Antonio, TX. This is not a virtual/remote position. You must live within or be willing to relocate within a commutable distance of one of the above duty locations.

• Formulate enterprise-wide recruitment plans and initiatives to stimulate interest and attract highly qualified applicants for hard-to-fill medical occupations.
• Advise agency leadership on innovative human capital strategies to resolve complex staffing and recruitment challenges.
• Apply a comprehensive knowledge of Title 5 and Title 38 recruitment and placement authorities to execute competitive and excepted service staffing actions for medical positions.
• Establish professional networks with medical organizations, hospitals, and educational institutions to develop robust recruitment pipelines for potential applicants.
• Administer complex medical personnel regulations and credentialing procedures including Physicians Comparability Allowance (PCA), Graduate Medical Education (GME) residency programs, and special salary rates to ensure regulatory compliance.
