This Full-Time position is located at Beachwood Child Development Center (6wks-5yrs) at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. • Supervises an assigned team consisting of up to twelve ratios children/youth comprised of direct care professionals and volunteers. Serves as a first-level supervisor for assigned staff.
• Conducts and review program evaluations of classroom and activity areas, identifying areas that need improvement, and establishing and implementing corrective action plans to address deficiencies within the prescribed timeframes.
• May serve as the Manager on Duty assuming responsibilities and duties of the program Director or Assistant Director in their absence when assigned.
• Works in conjunction with the Training Specialist and conducts written observations of assigned direct care professionals during all hours of operation and evaluates employees on established performance standards.
• Resolves complaints related to personnel concerns; gives advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters; promotes and models safety, fitness, health, and nutrition practices.
