About the Position: Located within the Directorate for Resource Management, Department of Budget Services at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) in Bethesda, MD. Work is primarily sedentary and performed in a typical office setting. Telework in accordance with agency policy. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

• Serve as the Customer Service Representative for civilian pay providing technical guidance to civilian employees.
• Resolve civilian payroll issues and timekeeping issues.
• Serve as the agency intermediary between the customers (serviced clientele) and the Defense Finance and accounting Services (DFAS) payroll processing centers.
• Provide technical assistance to command and timekeepers regarding the operations of the online Defense Civilian Payroll System (DCPS).
• Review time and attendance data that may impact pay, such as; electronic funds transfers (EFT), leave, taxes, benefits, for accuracy.
