This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Advancing Federal Government Use of Artificial (AI) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serve as an Information Technology (IT) Specialist with duties to design, modify, and construct computer networks for the 834th Transportation Battalion.

• Plan and carry out difficult and complex assignments and develop new methods, approaches and procedures.
• Provide advice and guidance on a wide range and variety of complex IT issues.
• Interpret IT policies, standards and guidelines.
• Conduct studies, audits, and continued analysis of IT network traffic conditions.
• Provide technical supervision over IT work at various geographical locations.
