This position is located within the Deputy Inspector General for Evaluations, Sensitive Activities Division. In this position, you will serve as an Auditor under a Project Manager and will be responsible to perform broad and complex assignments for the Sensitive Activities Division.
- Participates in strategic planning, performs internal and external coordination with senior officials and conducts research, planning, execution, and production phases of audits of special access programs.
- Performs complex audit reviews involving special access programs and develops and applies advanced analytical techniques and evaluative methodology in planning and execution phases.
- As a team or independently, clearly defines scope and steps to accomplish project objectives for significant DoD Agencies.
- Ensures fact sheets are well-researched and identify issue-area priorities according to special access program policies and procedures. Conducts complete, accurate, and understandable entrance and exit conferences with clients to explain objectives.
- Researches applicable laws, directives, regulations, manuals, prior studies, and reports to gain knowledge and understanding of areas being reviewed. Writes comprehensive draft memoranda, staff working papers, briefings, and reports.
