This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range & Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The Anniston Army Depot is located in Anniston, Alabama in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain halfway between Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, AL off Interstate 20. The Depot is the largest employer in Calhoun County.

• Serves as a project manager and technical expert for implementation of new IT infrastructure and telecommunication services.
• Reviews and assigns work orders from customers to determine requirements to ensure most cost-effective service is provided.
• Plans, coordinates, and executes all phases of telecommunications management including the acquisition, implementation, and integration of IT infrastructure resources and service
• Proficient in written and oral communications sufficient to prepare reports and present recommendations.
• Coordinates with the contractor and with government installation activities for maintenance, requisition, and receipt of supplies, repair parts, and equipment.
