This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range & Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The Anniston Army Depot is located in Anniston, Alabama in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain halfway between Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, AL off Interstate 20. The Depot is the largest employer in Calhoun County.

• Responsible for property accountability to include hand receipt management, performing inventories, and maintaining stock levels.
• Preforms property disposal functions: accepting turn-in, prepares excess and surplus equipment for disposal and/or restock, and coordinates items for turn-in.
• Responsible for warehouse operations to stock and/or store property to stock expendable and durable supplies and to move large and/or bulky property.
• Purchases supplies, equipment, printing, and training utilizing Government Purchase Card (GPC).
• Responsible for customer service to include responding to inquiries, answering the door, and answering the phone.
