C&S has supplied the grocery business since 1918, when Israel Cohen and Abraham Siegel founded it in Worcester, Massachusetts. The wholesale half now runs 60 distribution centers supplying chain and independent grocers, e-commerce retailers, and US military commissaries and exchanges.
