Delta Electronics makes RF, microwave, and millimeter wave connectors and cable assemblies, and it makes almost all of them under its own roof. The Beverly, Massachusetts headquarters is a 75,000 square foot vertically integrated plant running CNC lathes, milling, automated electroplating, robotic soldering, and RF testing up to 40 GHz. An 80,000 square foot plant in Nanjing repeats the same processes, and a manufacturing partnership in Kaohsiung, Taiwan has been in place since 2002. The parts end up in military aircraft, satellites, two-way radios, and broadcast equipment.
The Beverly plant is where most of the work is: machining, plating, soldering, cable assembly, and RF test, with the connector design engineering that feeds them.
