Equal Employment Opportunity Commission careers

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission exists to enforce the federal laws against workplace discrimination, covering race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, and genetic information. Congress established it to enforce Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and it now operates from headquarters in Washington, DC and 53 field offices serving every part of the country. Most employers with at least 15 employees are covered by the laws it enforces, which gives this comparatively small agency a reach into nearly every American workplace.
