In 2002 the two electrical contractors that became Faith Technologies were bought back out of Encompass Services Corporation, the roll-up that had absorbed them four years earlier, and carried on under team member ownership. Roland Stephenson had founded the older of the two, Town & Country Electric, in Appleton, Wisconsin in 1972; Bill Love started SKC Electric in Kansas City in 1980. They merged into a single Faith Technologies brand in 2008. The parent company now also runs Excellerate for manufactured products and EnTech Solutions, launched in 2020 for clean energy work.
Electrical construction is the base trade, with manufactured products at Excellerate and clean energy at EnTech Solutions beside it, and the company trains its own: the in-house apprenticeship it started in 2010 became Faith Technologies University in 2015.
