Dr. Charles P. Fasano opened a medical practice in Mifflinburg in 1973 and took on Dr. Domenick N. Ronco as a partner in 1980, and the two of them turned it into Family Practice Center, PC. Fifty years on it runs more than 40 physician offices and more than 40 physical therapy offices in central Pennsylvania, the therapy half coming from its 2019 purchase of CPRS Physical Therapy, which Rick and Vicky Tribbitt had started in Millersburg in 1983. It is still physician-led and works on the patient-centered medical home model.
