Forsyth County (NC) careers

In the North Carolina county that shares its school system with Winston-Salem, Forsyth County government staffs the public services, and its department list says what it hires for: public health, social services, emergency services, a sheriff's office, parks, a library, an airport, and a veterans services office. The list runs wider still, taking in N.C. Cooperative Extension work and Forsyth Tech Community College. Its child support office collected over $22 million for local families in the last fiscal year, fifth best in North Carolina, which is the same department doing the work it exists for.
