Greencroft Communities runs nine senior living communities across Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, and Ohio from its base in Goshen, Indiana, offering independent living, assisted living, healthcare, and rehabilitation. The roots go back to 1922, when Haven and Arminia Hubbard gifted their 700-acre farm to serve the needs of the elderly; the Goshen community itself was founded in 1962 to provide for widowed members of the 8th Street Mennonite Church, and the modern umbrella organization formed in 2002. Greencroft Goshen has held continuing care retirement community accreditation since 1990, so residents there can move between care levels without leaving.
