Viaero runs a weather camera network across the rural plains it covers, started in 2015 with more than 80 camera locations and television partners in Denver, Colorado Springs, and Kearney, Nebraska. The wireless business came first: it began in 1991 as Cellular One of Northeast Colorado on an FCC cellular license, took the Viaero name after buying Nebraska Wireless in 2003, and counts over 1,000 privately owned towers today. Fiber runs out of Fort Morgan to Scottsbluff, Grand Island, and La Junta.

The fiber build is where the engineering work sits, on the runs from Fort Morgan out to Scottsbluff, Grand Island, and La Junta. Beyond that, more than a thousand towers need field technicians and site crews, retail stores need staff across Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, and Wyoming, and the weather camera network is another thing to keep running.
