Vynca started in 2013 writing advance care planning software, then bought its way into delivering the care itself. In 2021 it acquired ReSolutionCare, a Northern California palliative care practice founded by Michael Fratkin, M.D., and by 2022 it was working in Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Idaho too. Three lines run today: home-based palliative care, enhanced care management, and the original software. The name comes from the vinca flower, the evergreen periwinkle.
