About the Position: This position is located at Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gordon, Georgia. Serves as the Supervisory Occupational Therapist (SOT) for the Occupational Therapy Service (OTS) and Physical Therapy Service (PTS) within the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF). This is a Direct Hire Solicitation - Recruitment or relocation incentives MAY be authorized

  • Oversees outpatient occupational therapyand physical therapy care and transition services for patients receiving services at specialty treatment facilities.
  • Facilitates effectiveand efficient working relations among OTS/PTS staff members and maintains a professional working environment within the organization.
  • Develops briefings, reference sheets, and information papers to communicate OTS/PTS rehabilitation services to military and civilian staff, interventional staff, and hospital professional staff.
  • Provides assessment and clinical intervention for a limited clinical caseload at the OTS; provides evaluation to determine patients’ current levels of function/dysfunction using all levels of Occupational Therapy measurement and evaluation tools.
  • Conducts on going assessments using standardized therapy assessment tools, as required; conducts clinical case in-service training with clinical staff to promote technical proficiency and quality patient care.
