The Health Connect Clinical Contact Center (CCC) Registered Nurse (RN) provides care through an interactive process between the nurse and patient that occurs over the telephone and online chat technologies and involves identifying the nature and urgency of client health care needs and determining the appropriate disposition. Only open to current employees of VISN 20. As this is a remote position, the salary may fall outside the salary range on this announcement depending on locality.
- Duties include but are not limited to: Providing timely, appropriate advice and guidance to patients and/or their representatives who seek assistance with health care issues. Communicating through a structured process in which information is exchanged clearly and accurately among team members. Considering recommended dispositions and interventions from approved clinical decision support tools to assess and address the clinical needs of patients. Recommendations may be emergent and include those that preserve life, prevent disability, or promote health and well-being. Reporting unusual occurrences and adverse events as appropriate. Work Schedule: First week of the pay period: Friday and Saturday, 3:00PM to 11:30PM; Second week of the pay period: Sunday and Monday, 3:00PM to 11:30PM. Compressed/Flexible: Not available. Telework: Not applicable, position is remote. Remote: This is a remote position. Relocation/Recruitment Incentives: Not authorized. Permanent Change of Station (PCS): Not authorized.
