The Resource Pool Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating patient care with a focus on education, self-management, and overall satisfaction throughout the healthcare continuum. This role includes administering medications and procedures in accordance with established policies and guidelines. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to positively impact patient outcomes.

  • The Resource Pool Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering competent, evidence-based patient care and the supervision of licensed vocational nurses and nursing assistants, as appropriate to the setting. The nurse will support the delivery of nursing education, orientation, competency assessments, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. This role requires the integration of knowledge, skills, abilities, and clinical judgment, with a high degree of self-direction in setting goals and managing complex situations across various nursing areas. The nurse will verify understanding of care processes and rationale for clinical decisions and will actively question practices to ensure adherence to evidence-based standards. The nurse must effectively manage competing priorities and demonstrate competence in clinical practice, decision-making, deliberate planning, and critical thinking across all patient care areas within the Resource Pool. The Resource Pool RN functions in multiple settings, including but not limited to: Urgent Care, Acute Care, Specialty Care, and the Community Living Center (CLC). Preferred Experience: Two years of Registered Nurse experience in a PACT team environment, primary care clinic, urgent care, or emergency department, with triage experience preferred.
