About the Position: This position is located at Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center, Director for DMS, Primary Care Clinics at Fort Belvoir, VA. HRS: Varies/Rotating Schedule including weekends, holidays, days, evenings and nights Mon- Sun; work schedule subject to changes based on agency needs. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
- Conducts collaborative care assessment, diagnosis and management of patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Directs collaborative care assessment, diagnosis and management of patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Assesses acute and non-acute clinical problems.
- Consults with physicians and other health care providers regarding patient management o include evaluating and revising therapeutic plans and managing high-risk, unstable, or extremely complex patients.
- Evaluates care delivery models and strategies, using concepts related to community, environmental/occupational health, and cultural and socioeconomic dimensions of health.
