About the Position: This position is located at Madigan Army Medical Center, Pediatric Unit, location Tacoma Washington. Patient care involves pediatric and adolescent patients responding effectively to unusual or conflicting situations. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Advanced Leave Accrual may be authorized. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

  • Will Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary pediatric care team, with responsibilities that include observing, assessing, and continuously monitoring the condition of pediatric patients to ensure timely and effective clinical interventions.
  • Deliver nursing care tailored to the developmental and age-specific needs of pediatric patients.
  • Operate pediatric medical and surgical equipment, ensuring safe, accurate, and effective use in specialized clinical settings.
  • Partner with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to design and implement strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality, efficiency, and outcomes of patient care services.
  • Educate family members on comprehensive home care strategies nursing, and psychosocial needs to support optimal pediatric health outcomes.
