About the Position: This position is located at Naval Health Clinic (Pearl Harbor), Island of Oahu, Hawaii. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Medical malpractice liability insurance is not required for federal civilian healthcare providers as they are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.S.C. § 1346(b)) while acting within the scope of their employment. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
- Serve as the Primary Care Optimization (PCO) team leader providing comprehensive outpatient care to beneficiaries ranging from newborn to geriatric age presenting with complex and interdependent acute and chronic conditions.
- Provide pre- and post-deployment health assessments as well as preventive health assessments (PHA).
- Complete administrative paperwork and assessments required of active duty Primary Care Managers.
- Advise other physicians, non-physician providers, and nursing and para-professional staff on the care of patients with urgent, emergent, and non-urgent medical problems.
- Provide clinical and administrative leadership to the Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) team.
