About the Position: This supervisory position is located at Headquarters, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Directorate of Human Resources, Civilian Personnel Division, Washington, DC, and provides leadership and oversight of civilian personnel programs and operations. Position is location-negotiable upon selection to any of the approved worksites.
- Supervises employees, assigns work, establishes priorities, monitors performance, and ensures timely accomplishment of mission requirements.
- Plans, organizes, and directs program operations, establishing goals, priorities, work schedules, and procedures to achieve organizational objectives.
- Provides full supervisory oversight, including performance management, employee development, recognition, and resolution of conduct and performance issues.
- Makes or recommends selections, promotions, assignments, disciplinary actions, and other personnel actions, with recommendations carrying significant weight.
- Evaluates program operations, identifies workforce and resource requirements, and implements solutions to improve efficiency, productivity, quality, and mission outcomes.
