The primary purpose of this position includes conducting extensive research on unusual transactions and patterns of inconsistency between the Consolidated Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and the Supply Chain Management (SCM) databases within the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS).
- Conducts extensive searches for information pertaining to complex and/or unusual supply transactions and patterns. Prepares recurring and special reports. Compiles statistics from data requiring substantial analysis, interpretation, and development of new formats. Represents the Customer Support, Pilot Fit Equipment, and Retrograde Management sections with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Receives, routes, and moves parts, assemblies, components, and other materials into and out of industrial shops. Performs administrative office support functions and maintains cooperative working relationships with team members, related functions, and operating officials. Plans and carries out shipping arrangements. Receives shipping requests or other authority for shipment. Monitors the use of hazardous material protection practices and procedures. Operates electric, LPG, or diesel powered fork lift trucks capable of lifting loads weighing less than 10,000 pounds as high as 168 inches.
