About the Position: This position is located within David Grant Medical Center, Travis AFB, California. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.
- Evaluate patients who are referred from Departments of Internal Medicine, Primary Care, EmergencyMedicine, Neurology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and/or Surgery.
- Perform assessments for adaptive devices and upper extremity orthotics.
- Provide consultation to other health care providers (nurse practitioners, physician's assistants, therapists, medical students, and interns).
- Provide medical consultative services and chart review for quality assurance purposes.
- Develop long and short-term treatment goals and objectives for each patient taking into consideration the information acquired in the evaluation and assessment phases.
