About the Position: This position is located at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital located at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Recruitment or relocation incentives MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
- Perform a variety of professional direct health care clinical duties within the field of the Primary Health Care.
- Examine patients and perform initial patient work-up and assessment of patients' care and treatment.
- Write prescriptions, orders the administration of medications, dispenses, and prescribes controlled substances in accordance with scope of practice.
- Order laboratory tests, x-rays, etc., and arranges for physician consultation if required.
- Provide consultation, teaching, and coordination with patients regarding treatment and medical care.
