About the Position: This position is with U.S. Army Transportation Command, Personnel & Manpower Directorate, Military Personnel Division, located at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. The incumbent serves as a Human Resources Specialist (Military) responsible for planning and coordinating the formulation of policies and programs for highly sensitive officer and/or enlisted personnel management actions and programs.
- Brief senior leaders on complex military personnel policies and upcoming personnel actions to ensure clear understanding and informed decision making.
- Present analysis of manning and strength data to command leadership, clarifying key issues and responding to questions to support operational planning.
- Draft operating procedures and directives for the military training program.
- Advise on new or revised military personnel directives explaining the impacts to command and staff.
- Review military manning documents to verify accuracy of coding of grades and specialties.
