About the Position: The Medical Records department is located on the 2nd floor of Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gordon, Augusta, Georgia. Entrance to the department is restricted and requires badge access. Office hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
- Plan and direct the health record management operations for all eligible patient populations within the medical facility.
- Exercise a full range of supervisory responsibilities, including managing personnel, evaluating performance, and handling staffing.
- Ensure medical records are completed and maintained in compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and Defense Health Agency requirements.
- Manages the secure storage, accountability, and proper retirement or transfer of Service Treatment Records.
- Analyzes medical record data and reports on trends to support quality management and decision-making for leadership.
