This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base Facilities and Major Range and Test Facilities Base, NDAA 1125 (a) and (c) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs industrial electronic sensing and control systems.
- Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of electronic motor controls, variable frequency drives, reduced voltage starters, and indicating and recording systems used on industrial machinery or engines.
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic digital computers and peripheral equipment, such as computers and programmable logic controllers used for programming and diagnostics of equipment and complex integrated systems.
- Perform maintenance, repair, installation, and calibration of integrated electronic systems.
- Perform evaluation of complex electronic systems, solve engineering problems of site selection, systems integration, and modify equipment to adapt to novel site characteristics.
