About the Position: This position is located in Fort Riley Irwin Army Community Hospital A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
- Provide comprehensive clinical nursing care to emergency department patients of all ages, including triage, assessment, and stabilization.
- Manage the delivery of nursing care during various shifts by determining staffing needs, delegating tasks, and directing unit activity.
- Lead and participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of unit-based programs to improve patient care and nursing functions.
- Serve as a resource and mentor for other nurses and healthcare personnel, providing guidance, leadership, and training.
