About the Position: These positions are with Evans Army Community Hospital. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.
- Anesthetize patients for a broad range of surgeries extending from the simplest to the most complex of procedures.
- Evaluate patient’s physical and mental status with respect to anesthesia, consulting with the anesthesiologist, if necessary, to evaluate patient’s conditions and desired course of action.
- Observe the patient during surgery, to accomplish and maintain the proper level of anesthesia depth and to prevent over-dosage.
- Serve as resource consultant to a wide variety of professional health colleagues, regarding the latest advances in nursing anesthesia and nursing practice.
