The Associate Administrative Director of the Centered Spirit Program is responsible for the organizational oversight of administrative programs, the development of strategic planning, participation or leads organizational-wide committees, and plans and coordinates special projects. Duties included are: administrative oversight and supervision, providing technical assistance within the organizations and other agencies, ensuring quality and policy development. Incumbents may represent the Director of Behavioral Health, on committees and interactions within the organization and outside agencies serving as a liaison with other agencies. The Director of Behavioral Health will maintain supervision of clinical related duties for all staff.
Skills and Abilities:
- Supervise staff, prioritize and assign work, conduct performance evaluations, ensure staff is trained and follow policies and procedures, maintain a healthy and safe working environment, and make hiring, termination, and disciplinary recommendations to Director.
- Provide analysis and recommendations to Director of Behavioral Health; identify potential services, needs, or training to elevate issues providing alternatives for positive outcomes.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate strategic planning and objectives for assigned grants and projects.
- Responsible for the oversight of Quality Management/Utilization Management, Network Services, Member Services, and Customer Service relations.
- Provide complex management support to the Director of Behavioral Health by addressing inquiries and service issues from community members, programs, managers and coworkers; determine best approaches for resolutions and prepares associated correspondence.
- Assist in the administration and monitoring of grant/program budget(s) including allocating resources and approving expenditures.
- Perform other duties of a similar nature or level as requested by supervisor or director.

- Experience with Systems of Care concept is preferred.
- Experience with Native American Community Health is preferred.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona Driver's License;
- This position will require the incumbent to work non-traditional hours, nights, and weekends;
- Must have a current Level 1 Arizona Clearance Card. Failure to maintain a current Level 1 Clearance Card will result in termination.
