It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Expert Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA - Acquisition/PAE Cyber.
- Serves as a senior technical expert and top-level planner in the information technology discipline applied to perimeter defense.
- Establishes long-range program objectives and requirements in matters relevant to assigned expertise.
- Defines financial support requirements, proposed schedules, and management support needed.
- Supports to the highest levels of DISA and DoW management proposals and programs for partnering with DoW Components research and development efforts relative to the Department of War Information Network architecture and operating environment.
- Contributes to the formulation and definition of overall mission and program objectives and requirements.
