The Cincinnati VA Medical Center - Women's Health Clinic is recruiting for a Nurse 1,2,or 3 for the Women's Health Primary Care/Gynecology Clinic. This position identifies evidence-based practice and develops basic skills to provide care to patients seeking complex gynecology care & primary care.

  • VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package: VA Nurse Total Rewards The duties of the Women's Health Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) are but is not limited to the following: The incumbent is responsible for providing competent, evidence-based Women's Health care to patients with oversight of licensed vocational nurses/nursing assistants as appropriate to the setting. This incumbent is self directed in providing complex gynecology care to patients. The incumbent will assist in directing the provision of nursing education, orientation, competencies and providing quality improvement and enhance outcomes utilization. This incumbent integrates Women's Health knowledge, skills, abilities, and judgment into their practice. Validates understanding of the rationale for care processes and decisions. Questions clinical practices for the purpose of providing evidence based care. The incumbent will demonstrate the ability to cope with and manage competing priorities. The incumbent demonstrates competence in practice and decision-making, deliberate planning, and critical thinking skills.
