The Cincinnati VA Medical Center - Women's Health Clinic is recruiting for a Nurse 1,2,or 3 for the Women's Health Primary Care/Gynecology Clinic. This position identifies evidence-based practice and develops basic skills to provide care to patients seeking complex gynecology care & primary care.
- VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package: VA Nurse Total Rewards The duties of the Women's Health Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) are but is not limited to the following: The incumbent is responsible for providing competent, evidence-based Women's Health care to patients with oversight of licensed vocational nurses/nursing assistants as appropriate to the setting. This incumbent is self directed in providing complex gynecology care to patients. The incumbent will assist in directing the provision of nursing education, orientation, competencies and providing quality improvement and enhance outcomes utilization. This incumbent integrates Women's Health knowledge, skills, abilities, and judgment into their practice. Validates understanding of the rationale for care processes and decisions. Questions clinical practices for the purpose of providing evidence based care. The incumbent will demonstrate the ability to cope with and manage competing priorities. The incumbent demonstrates competence in practice and decision-making, deliberate planning, and critical thinking skills. Pay: Competitive salary, regular salary increases, potential for performance awards Paid Time Off: 50 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year) Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA Insurance: Federal health/vision/dental/term life/long-term care (many federal insurance programs can be carried into retirement) Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory Work Schedule: Fulltime Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm Telework: May be Authorized Virtual: This is not a virtual position.
