The ANP provides advanced clinical practice, consultation, and management.   • This vacancy will be filled with either a Physician Assistant or a Nurse Practitioner. Duties include but are not limited to: 1. Demonstrates clinical competence in the management of adult and elderly veterans with complex chronic urological disease, erectile dysfunction and pelvic floor dysfunction. 2. Demonstrates the ability to be self-directed in clinical practice and in the management of a panel of patients with complex urological medical needs. 3. Responsible for providing education to patients, NP staff, NP students, Residents, Medical students, and Fellows related to care of the Urological patient. 4. Preferred Experience: Urology experience Surgical Assist experience Pay: Competitive salary, regular salary increases, potential for performance awards Paid Time Off: 50 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year) Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA Insurance: Federal health/vision/dental/term life/long-term care (many federal insurance programs can be carried into retirement) Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory Work Schedule: Full-Time, 0700-1530.
