The Senior Social Worker is responsible for providing Housing and Urban Development- Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) case management to Veterans and families in the HUD-VASH program.

She/he may serve as a team lead and the delivery of these services requires specialized knowledge and skills and extensive experience in resource identification. This position requires the ability to access VA medical, mental health, substance abuse, and other specialty clinical providers, as well as community providers, to collaborate in the care of Veterans. Travel throughout the greater Los Angeles area is an essential requirement of the position. Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm Telework: Ad hoc may be available after 90-days Functional Statement #: 000000 Physical Requirements: Light lifting (under 15 pounds); light carrying (under 15 pounds); reaching above shoulder; use of fingers; both hands required; walking; standing; hearing (aid permitted).
