  • Serving as a Administrative Officer GS-0341-15 makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) team and mission. This position is located in the Office of the Associate Director for Training Ops (TOPS)Core Training Operations Directorate (TOPS/CTO) Office of Artesia Operations (TOPS/CTO/OAO) Artesia Administration Division (CTO/OAO/AAD). The primary purpose of this position is to serve as Division Chief and senior administrative and mission support manager for FLETC Artesia, providing leadership and oversight for administrative operations, facilities, student support, procurement coordination, resource management, contract oversight, workforce planning, internal controls, continuity readiness, and other mission support functions. Typical duties include: Plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates administrative and mission support programs, including student services, facilities coordination, logistics, resource management, budget execution, internal controls, and contract support. Serves as principal advisor to senior leadership on administrative operations, resource needs, staffing, budget impacts, program risks, service delivery issues, and process improvements. Develops and implements policies, procedures, operating guidance, internal controls, and corrective actions to ensure compliance with federal laws, regulations, DHS/FLETC policy, and sound management practices. Provides leadership and supervision to subordinate supervisors and staff, including assigning work, setting priorities, evaluating performance, resolving workplace issues, and managing staffing and developmental needs. Oversees facilities, logistics, student support, procurement coordination, and contractor support activities to ensure services meet mission requirements, funding availability, procurement timelines, and operational priorities.
