The Domiciliary Mental Health - Registered Nurse demonstrates leadership, experience, and creative approaches in managing complex patient care. The incumbent assesses, plans, and implements infection control practices based on age-specific needs and assumes responsibility for coordinating care focused on education, self-management, and customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care, in accordance with established policies and guidelines.

  • Duties include, but not limited to: Documents nursing assessments, risk screens, measurement-based care tools, nursing plan of care, patient safety rounds, and environment of care rounds according to facility policy. Provides oversight of the patient safe medication management program. Demonstrates the ability to work with and lead Mental Health interdisciplinary teams. Work collaboratively with others as well as independently. Foster a safe and supportive environment conducive to the professional development of health care professionals. Provided patient-centered and recovery-oriented care Maintain self-awareness while caring for patients living with substance use disorder and/or mental health conditions. Participates in patient safety and environment of care rounds.
