About the Position: This position is located with the 407th Army Field Support Brigade, Brigade S3 Operations located at Fort Hood, TX. This position is a TERM Not to Exceed 13 months position. Please see "Additional Information" section below for further details.

  • Serves as a staff officer in the S-3 for the Army Sustainment Command (ASC). Formulate, evaluate, and coordinate logistics plans and policies.
  • Analyze mission objectives to determine the kind and extent of support required, coordinate with functional representatives to ensure adequate manpower, supplies, equipment and services meet specific requirements.
  • Assist in the establishment of training objectives, master of scenario event listing, and coordinate with internal and external staff in accomplishing tasks and missions.
  • Provide advice to management officials on training and development matters, such as procedures for assessment of training needs; training necessary to support short-and long-term needs; training methods and facilities
  • Monitor and track training requirements and maintain updates in a battalion tasker database; plans, reports and evaluates training requirements.
